Every year, my college friends and I get together for a holiday brunch, and it’s something I look forward to. Despite living close to each other, between work, families and life, it’s hard to find time to catch up without distractions. Along with lots of sharing of photos, stories and laughs, we do a secret Santa gift exchange. Everyone is assigned a person and there is a $20 limit to what we can spend.

This year, I decided to give my friend a set of 12 4×5 stationery cards from Shutterfly. It’s quick and easy to order and it looks much more expensive than $20. Plus, the added touch of personalization will sure to be a hit! Definitely beats a box of candy or scented soap!
Personalized stationery works well for family, too. Which reminds me…better add a set of cards for Mom.

My wife and I do something similar, and the quality is terrific, just what we have come to expect from Shutterfly.

I love the personal note pads. They are such a great gift for the young working person who has a “real” job already or for Mom to keep at the phone for quick messages! Moreover, remember you do not have to put just there name. Put a quote or silly line to make you smile for the day.

What a great idea. I was looking for a few more things to add to my mom’s present. Personalized paper products is perfect. Thanks!

Great idea and this has just inspired me to do make a notepad for my parents. They are forever looking for a piece of paper to make grocery lists or write messages for phone calls. Now if their grandchildren can stay away from the pretty paper – instead of coloring on every page that would be perfect.
Thanks for the super idea. Going to the store now!!
