Beautiful Birthday Invitations

Did you know Shutterfly just turned 10? Yes, it’s true, we’ve hit the double-digit mark, and we’re ready to party! To help us celebrate we’ve launched a new set of beautiful birthday invitations, which we think are perfect for birthday boys and girls from ages 1 to 100. Here are a few of my personal favorites.

For the little ones, I am in love with Jumbo Fun, Party Chick, and Cupcake Cutie and Ballerina Bear by Stacy Claire Boyd. The images in these invites are playful and sweet, and the cards are incredibly easy to personalize. Just fill in the fields with your little one’s name, plus the time, date, and place of your party. Incidentally, all of these invites come with matching return address labels, notepads, and thank you cards. I am definitely going to recommend the whole Cupcake Cutie set for my niece’s next birthday.

Stacy Claire Boyd’s You Rock invitations are bold, fun, and sure to please even the most discerning fourteen year old. Listen, I’m not fourteen, but I’m definitely going to use this for my next birthday invite – because I love the look – the contrasting colors, the guitar, the speaker – so retro cool they ROCK at any age! And yes, this design comes with matching address labels, thank you cards, and note pads.

I’m loving the Chocolate Cheer invite from Fresh Lemonade, too. That playful modern look really works for me – colorful stripes complementing a chocolate color block in the middle. Perfect for a cocktail party, a chocolate party, a BBQ, even a girl’s day at the spa. And the design works well for the young set too – from pool party to slumber party.

These are just a fraction of our new birthday offerings, so take a look for yourself, and decide on your own favorites!

These invitations are so great. There are so many choices for every age range. If I could pull myself away from the photo cards long enough maybe I will seen out a personalized invite or two this year.

more about Rachel B

Thank you for visiting “Picture More”, Shutterfly's Community Blog. My name is Rachel, and I come from a long line of photo enthusiasts. My grandparents kept a large (and heavy!) collection of family photo albums in their living room, which my sister and I loved looking through. My mother continued the tradition by becoming a hobby photographer (phrases like “smile, “hold that pose” and “let me get my camera” were a constant part of our lives). Now my sister and I are avid camera fans. She takes beautiful pictures of her children, and I enjoy capturing the many far-away places my husband and I visit. What I love about Shutterfly is that it helps me turn my photos into meaningful keepsakes like photo books, calendars, and photo gifts (I love my coasters, posters, mug and mouse pad!). My memories are now a part of my everyday life, not living in a shoe box or hard drive. And what I love about "Picture More" is that it will help us get even more creative with our pictures. I'm excited to exchange ideas with all of you!
