A Spring or Summer escape doesn’t have to mean a trip to Paris. For instance, you could pack a picnic and have lunch at your local park, or even your own back yard. You could take advantage of free local events in your area and try something different. See an exhibit in your local museum. Go for a stroll in your neighborhood. Have an impromptu barbeque. If you’d rather stick indoors, create a family craft project. Proclaim the day as national baking day and bake up a storm. Build a fort in your living room. Doesn’t matter. Just take a break and have some fun.
These imaginative escapes are sure to create some great memories, too. A few months ago when my niece was visiting we had a baking day and I took all sorts of photos capturing the activities. The cost was minimum, the enjoyment maximum, and I now can go back and relive these moments through pictures…photo book coming soon.
Many Gallery members have embraced this easy escape idea, and have captured these good times in photo books . Here are a few of my favorites. What easy escapes do you like to take? How would you turn them into a photo book? Let us know by commenting on this article.
