Share your journey

My name is Cary and about a year and a half ago I decided it was time to follow one of my dreams. That dream was to attend culinary school. So to make a long story short, I quit my job and packed my bags for Chicago where I am currently attending Kendall College and working towards a certificate in Personal Chef and Catering.

As part of this journey I thought it would be fun to share my culinary adventures with friends and family. Shutterfly Share sites are the perfect way to keep a journal and pictures of my experiences. Things move so fast in culinary school its great to have a bit of a look back on all that I’ve accomplished and at the same time be able to keep my friends and family updated.

I decided that my journal would include small tidbits (or crumbs if you will) of information that I found interesting in my classes – different knife cuts, ways of preparing things or a recipe I liked. Basically anything I think is interesting and never would have figured out had I not embarked on this journey! Of course I pepper it all with photos of some of the things I made or general happenings in the kitchen. Once I have enough crumbs I plan to turn it all into a Shutterfly photo book as a memento of my time at culinary school.

So whatever your personal passion might be, cooking, traveling, painting, etc., a Shutterfly Share site is definitely the way to go to chronicle your experiences and have something to look back on. It’s also a great way to share your journey with others – friends, family, even blog readers! So here it is in all of it’s glory! Welcome to Crumbs from Cary!
