Fall in love with Fall

Fall is my favorite season. I was born in the fall. I love the weather. I love the colors. I love everything about fall and since I live in California and our leaves don’t really fall until winter, I don’t even have to deal with raking until late December. It’s just sweaters and strolls and crisp afternoons. That’s why I was inspired by a photo book recently featured on Shutterfly Gallery called Falling Leaves With The Lil Lefflers. It’s a perfect fall day. The lighting is beautiful. The kids appear happy and cooperative. The layouts incorporate those lovely jewel and rust tones that sing autumn. The cover picture would be great for a holiday card.

This is what I mean when I tell people that creating holiday cards and photo books doesn’t require a whole production. Just a walk on a pretty day can do the trick. As far as the perfect fall photo book, we certainly have the page backgrounds. You’ll have to supply the happy, cooperative kids. Good luck!

I love fall too. The colors, the cooler weather. I just love it all. Fall makes the perfect photos. Last year we had a very wet fall, but so far this year its very nice out. Some of the leaves are off of trees. I’m hoping to take some pictures before old man winter comes and our winters are very long. I enjoy fall a lot. Great article and really inspires me to get out and take photos!

Summer and Fall can both last a long time in Califorina compared to the rest of the country. When you think it should be fall it still feels like summer with the last few days of 90 still hanging around. That makes dressing hard when you are ready for the longselves and sweaters for those great photos, but in return the pumpkin patches arent muddy! I look for dressing my kids in fall colored tee shirts and shorts to match the time of year. It still makes for that feeling of fall even when it is still a wonderful 79 degrees outside.
