What’s in your camera bag?

Posted By Connie E On November 30, -0001 @ 12:00 am In Photo Tips | 7 Comments

I thought it would be fun to find out what we all have in our camera bags, be they tiny point-and-shoot pouches to mega carrying cases like mine. Here’s my list:

Camera Bodies
- Sony A700
- Sony A350 (my backup)

Lenses
- 18-55mm 4.5-5.6 (its the widest angle I have)
- 55-200 4-5.6
- 75-300 4.5-5.6. I use it for most of my hummingbird shots. I also use it for some outside portraits. I like the bokeh it produces
- 50mm 1.4 – the lens I can’t live without for portraits and flowers
- 28-75 2.8, my most recent purchase, is very nice for inside pictures and portraits
- 100mm 2.8 and 70-400 4-5.6 are my very favorite lenses. I use my 100mm for all my macros and for some outside portraits. I use my 70-400 for ALL my birds

Other items
- My external flashes
- An extra charged battery
- Approximately 6 compact flash cards
- A lens rag
- A flash dome by Gary Fong
- Business cards
- Snacks
- Ibuprofen

My bag of tricks
- I always shoot in Jpeg/Raw to make it easier to edit
- After I remove my full memory card I turn it face down in my card holder so I know not to erase it

Okay, now its your turn. Tell me about YOU! What’s in your bag? What kind of camera do you shoot? What’s your favorite lens? Don’t be shy, inquiring minds want to know!
