Welcoming your new born into the world will be one of the most joyful and exciting moments in your life, and part of that joy comes from sharing the news with friends and family through that “perfect” birth announcement. One that showcases your little one’s photography, while at the same time expressing your own personal style.

It is important to us at Shutterfly that we provide a wide range of styles and layouts, so that you will find one that works for you. We’ve just added a new collection of baby announcements to our current offering, and are extremely proud of these innovative designs. Take a look and let us know what you think!

Here is what’s NEW:

Bright and Bold Color Pairings –
While Birth Announcements that infuse classic color pairings are timeless and will always be in style, infusing a bit of color can never hurt. Using designs with bold color is a great way to make the design stand out, add dimension, and elevate the photography.

Collage, Collage, Collage –
Show off your lovely new born with designs that offer multiple photo spaces…I always think these layouts are great to:
- Showcase those many little facial expressions
- Include pictures of those cute little feet and hands
- Include photography of siblings with their new brother and/or sister

Playful and Iconic Illustration –
While still making the design all about the PHOTO, these offer classic illustration, providing that perfect ingredient of playfulness.

New Concepts –
Why not announce to friends and family with sentiments like, “meet Amelia” and/or “it’s a sweet baby boy” – Both are new and fun ways to make that card stand out from the rest. Also, the “special delivery” concept is something fresh.

Unique Photo Spaces –
Another fantastic way to showcase that perfect photo in a unique way. Whether it’s precious floating hearts surrounding that sweet little face, or a beautiful sophisticated circular frame, the baby is still the focus.

Timeless Classic -
While we are always looking to add new concepts and designs to enhance our collections, it is important for us to build upon our classic assortment. These designs incorporate traditional color pairings and style patterns like seer sucker, toile and swiss dots. It is these classic elements that make the design timeless and nostalgic.

Thanks for the preview!! The new cards are fabulous. Not quite enough to convince me I need another baby…… but great none the less. ;)

more about Megan K

Hello! My name is Megan and while I love photography, my passion also exists in cards and stationery. Now that I am on Shutterfly's cards and stationery team, I find myself looking for any and every excuse to send a greeting card, thank you note or party invitation to friends and family! My boyfriend, Tommy, says this infatuation is similar to my handbag obsession but way less expensive so he can’t complain. To me, memories are meant to be shared and I live each day trying to catch a photo of a friend smiling, a beautiful sunset or random and unexpected surprise - those happen more than enough in San Francisco.
