Get candid with a wedding photo booth

Photo booths have been popping up at weddings lately, and I think this is a great way to add spontaneity and fun to a wedding experience. Take a look at these wedding photo books on Gallery, and you’ll see what I mean.

Rokkerlynn’s “The Photo Booth Album” is filled with black and white candid shots. Lynn has given this book to many of her guests, and tells us that every time she looks at the book herself, she gets a smile on her face. Heart629’s “Photobooth” contains color portraits that show us just how playful wedding photo booth sessions can be.

Where's my photo?

I love weddings or any event where they use Photo Booths. It adds an element of fun that isn’t always captured from the pro photographer.
I think these are great ideas. I noticed in my local paper, they have ads for photobooths for weddings or other events. Love this.

This is one of the best things to come along in along time for weddings! It can really show off the happiness of such an event. Sometimes a wedding can be so serious and heavy. I think we can lighten up with showing off the excitement of the future with by just stepping into a photo booth.

The wedding photo booth is awesome. My brother and his wife had one at their wedding and it was just so much fun!!!! Everyone had their picture taken in the booth because not only were the pictures added to the guest book for you to sign your name next you, the wedding favors were coaster frames. You received your photo booth picture and they fit in the coasters!!!! It was definitely something different and every time I use my coaster it reminds me of their awesome, beautiful, and outrageous wedding!

more about Lara H

By way of introduction, I’m LaraH. I’m a long-time customer of Shutterfly (beginning in January 2000 with the birth of my first daughter) and now an employee (since mid-2004). I’ve been making photo books since we launched the product in June 2005, but in that time it has evolved from a work responsibility, to a hobby, and dare I say passion. Most of the books I make revolve around my children and our family journeys, so I thought it was a fitting way for you to get to know me better to see “ My First Photo Book.” It’s the story of my daughters’ first few years, told mostly through pictures.
