Propose with a Photo Book

I was looking for creative ways to celebrate engagements, and discovered two books that inspired me.

JasonP114’s book “SHE SAID YES!!!” begins with photos of their courtship and travels and then concludes with a picture of the ring with the caption “Will you marry me?” And the answer was “YES!” of course.

LauraO60’s “Engagment book” is another proposal book that chronicles an elaborate treasure hunt that her fiancé sent her on before she could arrive at a location for him to pop the question. There are even ‘undercover’ photos taken of that final special moment.

This book looks so sweet, I’ll have to look at it. I have seen many proposal books and most were books that the guys made for their finacee. They are such a neat idea and proves once again that you can literally make anything into a photobook.

Special moments to last a life time! I would love to see a fiancée make a book describing his life before and after meeting the love of his life. This could be a very heartwarming and humorous book at the same time.

more about Lara H

By way of introduction, I’m LaraH. I’m a long-time customer of Shutterfly (beginning in January 2000 with the birth of my first daughter) and now an employee (since mid-2004). I’ve been making photo books since we launched the product in June 2005, but in that time it has evolved from a work responsibility, to a hobby, and dare I say passion. Most of the books I make revolve around my children and our family journeys, so I thought it was a fitting way for you to get to know me better to see “ My First Photo Book.” http://community.shutterfly.com/gallery/post/start.sfly?postId=/gallery/1/post/GMGDBgyYNGLdg5ZgLl7Adq. It’s the story of my daughters’ first few years, told mostly through pictures.
