I love the flexibility of All New Custom Path because it lets me move photos and text anywhere, and gives me the option of adding unique touches like symbols, stickers and custom fonts that make my books look special.

If you’re a digital scrapbooker (using design software like Photoshop to create your pages), you probably love these features too, but also want the option of dropping in your own original pages.

The great news is, you can still digiscrap in All New Custom Path!

Here’s how.

Digiscrapping with All New Custom Path

1. Select the Versatile Classic style (in Everyday Occasions)
2. For the title page, select the NEW full bleed layout from the navigation bar on the left-hand side
3. For each inside page, select the full bleed layout (choose 1 picture photo layouts)
4. For the front cover, select the full bleed layout. NOTE: If you leave the text box blank, no text will print
5. For the back cover, select the full bleed layout
6. For the spine, select the full bleed layout
7. The specs for All New Custom Path are identical to those used in Classic Custom Path for all book sizes EXCEPT the die-cut cover and the 8×11 pages. The 8×11 pages now have slight more bleed. Stay tuned for more information on the die-cut cover

If for any reason you’re not happy with your photo book, we’ll replace your order or you can return it for a full refund. Happy digiscrapping!

I’m sure this will help those that digii scrap. I love the new Custom Path because it does give me the freedom to do basically whatever I want and it gives it that unique flair

  2. Taren Says:

I started a new photo book yesterday to test the waters of this new custom path. I LOVE IT! It saves me from having to buy the digiscrapping software that I was looking @ purchasing. This gives me the ability to do everything I would have wanted in the expensive software. Thanks, Shutterfly!!!

  3. BarbaraJ Says:

Taren, this is wonderful to hear and I really feel more people will love this and enjoy the fact they can do this without additional software. I am happy for our community. I at this point still do digi, because I have invested so much in my papers and elements. This is as close as it gets. Thank you Rachel for all the informaton for the ones that may still what to have the opportunity to digi scrap.

  4. AnnAbbott Says:

more about Rachel B

Thank you for visiting “Picture More”, Shutterfly's Community Blog. My name is Rachel, and I come from a long line of photo enthusiasts. My grandparents kept a large (and heavy!) collection of family photo albums in their living room, which my sister and I loved looking through. My mother continued the tradition by becoming a hobby photographer (phrases like “smile, “hold that pose” and “let me get my camera” were a constant part of our lives). Now my sister and I are avid camera fans. She takes beautiful pictures of her children, and I enjoy capturing the many far-away places my husband and I visit. What I love about Shutterfly is that it helps me turn my photos into meaningful keepsakes like photo books, calendars, and photo gifts (I love my coasters, posters, mug and mouse pad!). My memories are now a part of my everyday life, not living in a shoe box or hard drive. And what I love about "Picture More" is that it will help us get even more creative with our pictures. I'm excited to exchange ideas with all of you!
