July 4th is a big deal in my neighborhood, and last year I went all out with the invitations. They were such a big hit that I’m going to do them again this year, and I’ve discovered some new additions to our card collection that will make my 2011 invitations sparkle.
Check out my new favorite July 4th invites and learn why I love them.
Fourth of July 4×8 Invitation
First of all, I am in love with the 4×8 form factor, because that extra length looks stunning, and is perfect for showcasing 3 photos in a row. Makes a great looking invite that will catch the eye.
Sprinkle Multi Invitation
I can use this invite for all kind of party occasions, but I am so in love with those fun bursts that I might just choose this one for July 4th. The colors shout summer, and the layout allows me to feature my favorite summertime photo.
Star Stripe Banners Summer Invitation
Who needs a photo when you’ve got stars and stripes? I love the hanging flag display and tiny blue star. Slightly retro, a little nostalgic, and totally fourth of July. I want it!
Bonus party tip
Speaking of July 4th parties, here’s a little party tip for you. If you’re having lots of kids over for the big day, cover the kids’ eating table with white craft paper and give them red and blue markers and stickers so they can decorate it July 4th style.
